Grizzly Valley Extension Pipeline Project (December 2002 – April 2003)

The Grizzly Extension Pipeline Project was constructed in the challenging foothills area southeast of Tumbler Ridge, BC under NEB (National Energy Board) jurisdiction.

Project Highlights:

• 61,100 metres of 16-inch mainline
• 282,000 total project manhours
• Labour force peak of 295
• Working partner of the Saulteau First Nation
• Zero NEB notices
• Supported major aerial crossing
• Steep slopes and rock encountered throughout the line
